  “I came prepared,” she said with a smirk. “Sort of.”

  He answered this by kissing her again and again. She moaned as he led her to his bedroom. They kept crashing up against the walls, unable to stop touching and stripping.

  “I want two kids,” she reminded him. “You’re not allowed to leave when you meet my crazy sister either.”

  “I literally can turn into a lion,” he bit back and then nipped her neck. She groaned in pleasure. He led her to his bed, a massive California king with silky sheets. She sighed in pleasure as she fell against the fabric, but he didn’t give her much time to appreciate the high-end linens. He straddled her, his kisses becoming more frantic. Her hands roamed through his hair, pulling him against her.

  Her grip was surprisingly powerful. He had to fight against her, and he was glad he did. Hovering above her, he had a wonderful view of her red panties His fingers danced beneath the thin strand, and she squirmed beneath him. She gave him an impatient scowl.

  “All in due time,” he whispered as he dropped downward. The vibrations from his remark sent goosebumps all over her skin. She moaned as he placed kisses up and down her torso, finally leading to skim the top of her panties. He was gentle as he could be, but some of his movements were rough. He couldn’t help it. She didn’t seem to mind as she threw her head back.

  Finally, he straddled her. They’d torn off all their clothes. She glanced down at his member with a raised brow.

  “I’m impressed,” she told him with a wink. “Now, show me how Lion Shifters do it.” He grinned and did just as she asked, thrusting into her. She gave a strangled cry of pleasure as he rocked inside her. She clawed her hands down his back, and the slight pain sent him into overdrive as he thrust inside her. Her pelvis ground against him meeting all his movements.

  They were in a desperate race to pleasure one another most. She pulled him towards her and kissed him viciously. He let her bite his lip and enjoyed the sting of it. He groaned as he felt himself getting close. By her strained cries and scent, he could tell that she was nearly there. He leaned down to nip her neck, promising himself that he would properly mark her as his mate soon.

  She cried out in absolute pleasure as she came to her climax, and he soon followed just behind her. They moved against one another, their fervent actions slowly dying. She pulled him against her as he collapsed beside her.

  “Never let me go,” she commanded.

  “Never,” he said. “I’ll give you as many children as you want. All the kitchens you want. All the food you can cook.”

  “I want you to cook for me someday.”

  He smirked. “Tomorrow? For the family? I owe baby Joan a visit and a promise that she’ll have cousins, you know.”

  She grinned and buried her face against his chest with a smile. “I never thought any of this would happen. Are we mad?”

  “I think the best people are,” he admitted and stroked her hair. “I knew it, somewhere deep down, as soon as I began to recognize your scent. It was pure magic for me.” She was warm to the touch as her fingers danced up his chest.

  “Again?” she asked in a sing-song voice. He cackled and rolled her over onto the other side of the bed. She giggled wildly and playfully batted him with soft fists.

  “You don’t have to ask,” he promised. “I’ll give you everything you want. Anything you want. On my Lion heart.”

  She smiled and touched his face, stroking it. He shivered beneath her touch. A touch that he wanted to make sure he felt for all eternity.

  “Together,” she whispered and then grinned up at him with a wiggle of her eyebrows. “Now, give me that round two, boss.”

  He was happy to comply.

  He was happy that she found him.

  That they found each other.
